Early Life :
Hardik Pandya’s father was an ardent cricket lover and he used to take his both brothers to watch matches in Baroda. To provide them a better opportunity his family moved from Surat to Baroda. His family faced a lot of financial difficulties and Hardik’s father even suffered thrice from Heart Attacks and had to quit his job.

Education :
Hardik Pandya dropped out of school in 9th standard and started focussing on Cricket since he felt there is nothing else he can be good at. Although he himself hasn’t studied much he was seen giving a message to young aspiring teenagers in ‘Breakfast with Champions’ to focus on studies and also have a backup plan to fall back on in case of unexpected challenges.

Career :
He started his early cricket journey as a leg spinner but was later asked to play as a fast bowler since his local Baroda team was short of a fast bowler. He surprised everyone by picking seven wickets in that match and later continued to play as a medium pacer.

In his early playing days Hardik was even removed from his state age group teams due to attitude problems, but Hardik explained that he was just an expressive child who could not hide his emotions.

He is currently married to Natasa Stankovic (Since 2020).
